Ronda Maroc 2.0

Ronda is a famous Moroccan card game that is played with Spanish cards.

The deck consists of 40 cards:

• 4 suits: Knife, Cup, Gold, and Stick
• 10 cards per suit: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12

Ronda is played by 2 players. The objective is to collect as many cards as possible to score points. The game ends when one of the players reaches 21.

At the beginning of the game, 4 cards are dealt face up on the table. Each turn, 3 cards are dealt to each player. Players take turns playing a card on the table. If a pair is formed, the player collects the pair and any consecutive cards forming a sequence above them.

For example, if the table contains 1, 2, 3, and 5, by playing the card 1, the player wins the pair of 1, the 2, and the 3 – a total of 4 cards.

The Announcements:

On every deal of three cards, players can make an announcement that will earn them points:

• Having three identical cards requires announcing "Tringla" (5 points)
• Having two identical cards requires announcing "Ronda" (1 point)

Missa: By clearing the table completely, a player earns an additional point.

Taper: By forming a pair with the last card played, a player gains an extra point.

Last Hand: When the very last card is played, there may still be cards on the table. In this case, the player who won the final trick takes all remaining cards on the table.
